Invest in the only permitted fluorspar mine in the US.
Ares Strategic Mining presents a compelling opportunity for institutional investors seeking exposure to a critical mineral with significant growth potential. As the owner of the only permitted fluorspar mine in the United States, the Lost Sheep Mine in Utah, Ares is uniquely positioned to capitalize on the increasing domestic demand for fluorspar, a non-metallic critical mineral vital to industries such as steel, aluminum, and clean energy, which is currently 100% imported.
With strategic partnerships, including a significant equity investment from UK-based Sorbie Bornholm LP, and financial backing from the U.S. government, Ares is transitioning from exploration to production, enhancing its operational capabilities and market position.
This investment is further supported by fluorspar’s classification as a Critical Mineral, enabling faster permitting and reduced operational risks, making Ares an attractive proposition for institutional portfolios focused on sustainable, high-growth North American resource opportunities.

Why Fluorspar?
Fluorspar is a critical and strategic mineral, widely used in industries such as steel and aluminium production, cement production, the chemicals, refrigeration and ceramics industries. Fluorspar is used in the anode, cathode, and the electrolyte of Lithium-Ion batteries.
North America & Europe are the largest consumers of Fluorspar, with industries reliant on the mineral in China, Mexico, Mongolia/CIS and South Africa. There are no net exporters of fluorspar in Europe and currently no producers in the US.
Industry view is that demand for acid-spar will increase by 4-5% per year over the next 5 years and prices are forecast to increase in the medium to long-term.

James Walker, CEO
"ARES is a rare opportunity to be part of an early stage company that is returning an entire industry to the United States. The mineral is vital to domestic industry, and we remain the only company actively building the infrastructure and operations to resupply North America and our international partners with U.S. manufactured fluorspar products for the first time in two decades."
