The Lumps Plant is now fully operational, with ore moving through the processing system and being transformed into metspar 'lumps' ready for industrial use. Watch the plant in action:
On October 9, 2026, we officially opened our Fluorspar Lumps Plant, joined by Federal and State representatives, industry partners, our hardworking teams and local Delta families. It was a proud day for us at ARES Strategic Mining because it marked the return of commercial fluorspar production to the USA. Check out highlights from this historic event:
Was ist Flussspat?
ARES has a MOU with CREMER ERZKONTOR North America to market and sell its initial metspar production of approximately 50,000 ton per year for five years.
With metspar prices typically exceeding US$500 per tonne, this represents a potential gross product value of US$25 million+ annually at that indicative price, providing ARES with an established route to market.
